How much does it cost for my students?
Passages you assign to your students are free for them. The free instructor plan offers a limited selection of passages, while professional instructors have access to all passages except special ones (eclipse, circumnavigation, and lost at sea). Your students get an additional discount if they want to sign up to the platform on their own, and an affiliate commission is paid to you for all purchases associated with your students.
Can I see results in real-time?
Yes. The cohort dashboard updates instantly with each student submission. You see the color-coded grid (green/gold/red) and can export data as CSV at any time.
Do my students need specific equipment?
Your students need sight reduction tables (HO 249, HO 229, AP 3270, or SHOM), a nautical almanac, paper, and a pencil. All astronomical observations and navigation data are delivered by email — no software required.
